Dates back to when the Brits actually made something that worked well - then came Leyland......

There's nothing quite like the sight and sound of a spamcan in a hurry!

Aww! Just magic! I lived in New Milton in the sixties. Bulleid Pacifics 'blowing up' through the station was just another backdrop to life.

Impressive indeed.
The remaining bit of the M&SWJR extends to Ludgershall camp; see Google Earth.

Very impressive video.
Interesting to see that the remains of the M&SWJR still seem to be in use.

Wow! They were giving it some wellie through there! Even set off the car alarm! lol. Do the steamers regularly go full pelt through Andover station? So long as theres nothing ahead to slow it down?

Excellent! I liked the Doppler Effect of the whistle

I think this is the quickest I've seen a steam train run in the preservation era.
-
I agree, that was quick, even quicker than your vid of 73096. 5 stars!

well, one coach faster I reckon - the 11 of 34067 covering the distance in the same time as the 10 pulled by 73096 - so 78 mph? left me reeling though!
