and the game is supposed to be hard.
In your/our generation (I'm 15) We have rarely any truly hard games. Frustrating, certainly, but not hard. Everything has modes nowadays so that younger audiences can enjoy it. My NES broke a long time ago, but I grew up on these games, they're fun. You can't appreciate it because you are brought up in an age where Games are only flashy lights and big bangs.

Yeah... if you had actually read the instruction manual, it would tell you the story. The people can only communicate through music, and Milon can't play music well. Also Milon was journeying to a castle and found out that it was under siege. The castle wizard gives Milon the kindgom's magic bubble.
The game is fun, it does not suck. I'm not making fun at you, but you are the one who sucks at this game. In the shop you buy shoes that let you jump higher on the springs.

Check your mic, I couldn't hear anything beyond a faint mumble.
PS. The game is fine, it's just one of those games that can be frustrating if you don't know what to look for or what to shoot. Search for some guides or walkthroughs to help.
