Polar Bear Plunge 2009 Seaside Heights NJ, it was so cold and windy that day. But a bunch of warm hearted folks jumped in the ocean to support the Special Olympics... Afterwards we drove the jeep to Island Beach State park afterwards and saw a baby seal and a red fox
Special thanks to Peter Bakalian on camera at the beach.

  • Such a pretty fox, but weird to see him walking on a paved road. Aww, and a lonely seal. Think he lost his family?

  • The ranger said the seals get tired and rest on the beach and then go back with their herd. They said the seal was healthy and would probably go with the next high tide. Amazing tho, who would think to see this stuff in Jersey??
