@quinndexter All the mess HE left? The Conservatives are just trying to make themselves look good by blaming everything on the previous party in power. Labour couldn't deal with the crisis during their term because of the sheer size of the mess that they inherited from the Thatcher-Major era. I'm afraid the Tories are just trying to scapegoat Labour here, when they themselves are to blame. I know Brown wasn't the best PM ever, but he's much better than Cameron.
