A cover of the Deerhoof song +81, played on my guitar exam in june 2007. Featuring trumpet and some nice words (it is actually impossible to hear what Satomi is singing in the original).

When I saw this was going to be a deerhoof cover, I most definitely did not expect you to pull it off. Great stuff! You're a very musical guitarist and put genuine character in your playing, which is great.

Nice job with the guitar work. John's a unique player with some very interesting changes and I would say you were the most successful of the group. It's near impossible to duplicate Deerhoof's spontaneity and abandon so well-done. Of course, Greg & Satomi can't be duplicated. The last time I saw John live, he was using a Fender 69 Thinline Reissue to good effect. I would think he would be flattered with your take.
