  • Thanks to all who commented on the song, I believe in keeping the memory of the men and women who died for Ireland alive, least we forget. I have a great passion for Irish music and stories, I'm not a professional singer, not even an armature, just a novice guitar player with basic music skills and a half decent voice for the auld ballads.

  • Thanks, this song is here months and nobody has commented on it, I was bigining to think it wasn't good at all.

It took me two days to play all the instrumens, I play tin whistle, guitar, keyboard and banjo,

  • Well, Catalpa, I think ye did a grand job on this song...one of my old favourites. Even though I am an old Stick, I respect the memory of all the brave Provos who died, and Billy Reid was one of the bravest. He was not a young man by the standards of the time for a Volunteer but he faced up to the Brits and held his ground. I remember the day he was killed just like it was yesterday. May he rest in peace with all the rest of Ireland's heroes.

  • dont give up the day job, ill give u an A for effort though. the hearts in the right place

  • go on you keep up the work ,we did the charlie kerins commemoration last week its important to keep these brave men and women's memory alive
