This robot came to life when an old electric powerchair got donated to the science center and I decided to radio control it, and put a paintball marker on it. The marker is electronically fired, for full auto or semi auto operation, the wheelchair has been stripped to the frame, chair taken off, and using VEX Robotics microcontroller and Victor Speed Controllers we controlled the motors. At the moment the elevation of the marker (to aim at a high or low target) is not functioning, but once I get it working I will post a video. The robot also features an onboard wireless camera (in video). This is the first video of this robot fully functional, and I hope everyone enjoys it. The robot was made at Talcott Mountain Science Center. PLEASE NOTE: The robot is not complete yet, hence the bad look and horrible wire job. This is just a demo video.
