This video is funny but good cause it shows how much work goes into owning a wild caught animal. Im not a fan of buying wild caught cause their habitat can never be the same but i got this guy sitting on a table at a reptile show amoung all the fancier geckos. I plan to set this guy up in a habitat with live plants and caves.

  • i just bought one and am wondering how sociable this species is. there is very little info available on the internet. should i not handle it too much? i dont wanna stress it out. also do you have any suggestions for housing? should he have some kind of bark/cork wall he can climb on???

  • @decrepitbirth420 congrats! i assume yours is wild caught too? i still cant handle mine too long, he just prefers to hide all day and comes out when all lights are out- very skiddish. nothing like the leopard gecs. I wanted to give him more area to rome and he walks around on that cork like its the ground so cant hurt to try it out! good luck

  • @knglee3rd thanks for the info, im not sure if mine is captive bread but i do know it was hard to find. well see how he is when i clean the cage i havent handled him much, i heard it can shorten their life span. sweet vids man!

  • @decrepitbirth420 Thanks, you should make a few vids yourself :)

  • do cave gecko's eat pinkys? i was think of getting 1

  • @bodmonnock yes they do but dont give too many

  • Hey is the good pets like leopard geckos

  • @geckokid94 yes they need temps ranging from 75 to 85, i keep mine at around 78-80. They eat crickets, meal worms, different types of available feeder insects like that, i feed him 3-4 crickets every other day dusted with calcium

  • love them do they need heat or room temp like cresteds
