Ecumenism is not Catholic. John himself, the Apostle of love, who seems to reveal in his Gospel the secrets of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and who never ceased to impress on the memories of his followers the new commandment "Love one another," alogether forbid any intercourse with those who professed a mutilated and corrupt version of Christ's teaching: "If any man come to you and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into the house, nor say to him: God speed you."

That is not true. No pope has defined that Mary conceived Jesus immaculately (though that is, of course, already de fide). Pius IX defined the immaculate conception of Mary herself, if that's what you mean.
Pius XII also used papal infallibility in his "Munificentissimus Deus" to define Mary's assumption.

of course of course

Yes, so long as the truths of Catholicism dont suffer.

It matters more what the Pope says... In anycase i'm extremely glad His Holiness has lifted the excommunications from the 4 bishops.
Deo Gratias for FSSPX may they one day be in full and unproblematic communion with Rome

Yes, but in all history, the popes of the ages only used this power of infallibility once, and that is to say that Mary our Mother conceived the Savior Immaculately.

Why do you say this?
May this venerable Roman Catholic Archbishop Lefebvre, defender of Catholic Tradition and Truth, intercede for us in heaven before God. O, Blessed Mother, hear our prayers and intercede for the Restoration of the Holy Mother Church, One, Apostolic, Catholic and Roman!

I don not attend SSPX chapels or TLM regularly
but time will prove Mons Marcel LeFebvre was one of the most important Catholic figures in all of Church history. Santo Subito
