  • good birding.

  • Lived in Delco for over 30 years and I never realized how big the refuge was til I saw it on Google Earth.

  • i caughta 10 lb catfish here on chicken. gandhi!

  • This is a great place, but it's really a hard place to walk through if you're starting in Essington. The trail is extremely narrow and treacherous in some spots. Anyway, I suspect the Lenape Indians didn't see oil slicks flowing through Darby Creek 600 years ago. It's a terrible shame what we've done to our ecosystem. I wish I could have seen the area before we savages took it over. Places like this give a small amount of insight.

  • I love this place.
