Nikchemuchka (Useless Doll) Ukrainian Soviet Macro Stopmotion Cartoon

This stop motion animation is unusual from some others because of how magnified it is, its practically macro style. There were a lot of stop motion animation cartoons made in USSR because its faster and easier than hand drawn animation.

This cartoon is made in Ukraine in 1977 by Kievnauchfilm. The naughty squirrel finds scissors and starts to wreak havoc on everyone. The doll called "Nikchemuchka" is crying because he can't do anything and he has no use. After the squirrel messes up the Sun with her scissors winter begins. Nikchemuchka is impervious to cold and uses his coat to help the freezing animals.
