@bioheroplayer No, it is just made with the same engine as HL2 that is why the sounds and models are the same.

You can tell this game was made by Valve just by looking at how the zombies move and the way you attack with your axe. Not to mention the flat lining sound after you die. They seem to re-use a lot of their animations and sounds in their games.
