lmao alot of patience there :P

I'll try and copy that. It's too bad that Rosethorn hall's bookshelves suck, they're too small for the larger books, most of which are my favourites.

I don't think the physics engine is what makes it such a difficult task, I personally think it is the lack of the sense of depth. I often run into troubles when I thought the book or item is far away from everything else, it would then go ahead and hit everything off the shelf or the table. I think it would be really helpful if the game shows a hand or silhouette of the hand holding the item, so that I can judge if the item is really at the right place or not

I put one book up go to put another and knock the 1st one down

I wish they could have implemented the D-pad (or arrow keys) so you could rotate and flip items...

Gosh i do like that everything is havoced in Obivion, but somet imes that can go horrobly wrong and suddenly everything explodes off a bookshelf or table and i go like wtf. And i never bother to clean it up after.... my favorite is duplicating all kinds of gems by like 10 000 and then use nice 15 yard or something fire spell in a small room, now thats a nice treasure room i promis ^^
new feature in skyrim : EASY BOOKSHELF ORGANIZING

@nitronzx Unfortunately, the Skyrim bookshelf organizing system is somewhat broken. It stacks the books so that they always fall over to the side and look all askew. It doesn't put enough books on each shelf. It doesn't let you sort them by size or color, or decide which way they are facing. Worse, you can't manually fix them yourself.
I certainly admire them for trying to make a better solution, but it could use some fine-tuning.

Ah, organizing those damn books really is a nightmare. The Havok physics engine is great, but I think they implemented it a bit wrong into the game.

I think the physics engine is extremely well-done. Remember that this game was basically finished in 2005... no other RPG before this had nearly as good of a physics engine. The problem with some books is that the bounding box is bigger than the prims, but that may not entirely be the physics engine's fault, I don't think...
