Thacholi Varghese Chekavar is 1995 Malayalam Action film starring Mohanlal and Bollywood actress Urmila Matondkar.

Plot

Varghese (Mohanlal) is a Kalari master. Shyam (Vineeth) is his favorite disciple. Once he comes to his master saying that he is in love with a girl called Maya (Urmila Matondkar). He says that her parents has kept her under house arrest and he needs his masters help to rescue her.

Varghese kidnaps Maya and bring her to Shyam but Shyam tries to kill her. Varghese understands that Shyam is not her lover and she is the only witness in another homicide which involves Shyam. But Maya tells Varghese that Shyam is innocent in that case and what he thinks is wrong. Varghese tries to help both of them.
