Can Mike run for $50,000, maybe $25,000, or will a Go To Jail space stop him in his path?

Monopoly lasted for 13 episodes in 1990 every Saturday, and the pilot was hosted by Peter Tomarken. Monopoly was created by Merv Griffin, depicted from the famous board game.

We miss you, Merv

  • The endgame was NOT terrible. And to let you know, this show was from 1990. Shows back then were not like they are today.

  • No, this show was NOT terrible! Gosh, I can't believe you say such a thing. It was a good show. A lot of money was at stake in this show. And honestly, though the clues were a bit more deceptive, I think it was the clues. But really, the show was NOT terrible!

  • Either case, that's your opinion. I know not everyone liked this show. I see with this opinion, you're one of them. No worries, though. I respect your opinion. But for 1990 times, I think $100 was all right. These days, $100 is just cheap these days.

  • Do you mind explaining why it's the worst end game in your opinion?

  • I found this show enjoyable!

  • I liked this show. Too bad it only lasted one season.

  • Those dice are as big as his head...no wonder he couldn't roll to make money, make them at least half that size! We aren't blind from watching TV for weeks and weeks on end, that's why god invented glasses..!

  • @movie0007 Me too! I used to watch game shows all the time since I was a kid. And don't forget "Scrabble" was a game show based on a Hasbro board game, and so does "Monopoly" which was a Hasbro based game show. Thanks to "Family Game Night" on the Hub. It has some Monopoly related stuff. This new show is based on any board game from Hasbro.

  • @myblueriver8 There was even a Yahtzee game show, if you can believe that.

  • @666Brago Mine's Rich Fields although he was better on the Price is Right than on Wheel of Fortune.

  • @jskf622 He and Johnny Gilbert have been rotating on an interim basis. I was talking who's gonna be the permanent guy.

  • @jskf622 Those are some great voices now forever silenced. My current favorite is Jonathan Mangum on Let's Make a Deal.

  • @666Brago The Irraplaceable Announcing Voices(Game Show wise) are in my Opinion(and remember it's my Opinioin if you have your favorites please let me know.) Charlie O' Donnell, Gene Wood, Johnny Olson, Johnny Gilbert(but shouldn't do Wheel of Fortune) Rod Roddy, and Jay Stewert.

  • @666Brago I heard the Former Announcer from the Price is Right, Rich Fields, is taking over for a bit but in reality, you really can't replace Charlie O' Donnell.
