Go Dennis!! It's not even constitutional to force us to buy insurance. Although the constitution is not relevant to the Democrats.

We must say that if that's the best 'they' can do, then they have no place in representing us. We need democrats with balls. One's who aren't paid by insurance companies such as Senator Blanche Lincoln in my state of Arkansas, Joe Lieberman of Connecticut, and Mr. Max "Max Tax" Baucas. Single payer may be dead for now, but it's the way to go.

This simply shows that there is no real difference between "the left" and "the right" or the Republicans or the Democrats. I'm with you
mexcurmudgeon, Bush & Obama are both tools. Different face, same agenda.

You seem to think that Obama has anything but a corporatist agenda. He's pushed forward plans to help corporations, has weaseled on the public option (after stating as a state senator that he was for medicare for everyone), failed to stop either undeclared, illegal war in the middle east, weaseled his way out of closing down guantanamo, continues the horrendous practice of rendition, declares a 'national emergency' for the swine flu? Obama's a tool, and not a liberal one, but a corporate one.
