I thought it would be easier to make a response video than to comment the traditional way. Well, it wasn't easier, but hopefully my intentions were better understood this way.

  • WOW

  • My sentiments exactly.

  • *giggle*

  • Wendy, I'm not sure either. That's 1 of the reasons I started my videos on the pill. I couldn't find any info. regarding what happens to a person AFTER you stop consuming it. I'd assume you'd really have to keep up with eating well and exercising or all the weight will be back.

Phen. helps curb the appetite & give u energy 2 help ppl. change their lifestyle--start eating well & exercising. If a person has indeed changed then they should be able to continue w/out the pill. I'm hoping! :-)

  • Ok first of all.

Your weight loss is determined by your body type. Pre baby I was 140lbs and 5'7.. While pregnant I had toximia and gained 55lbs. Something my body was never used to as I was on the jr.olympic volleyball team.. So when I started taking the pill I was 195 and borderline diabetic, so the help of phentermine, pilates, walking everyday and eating healthy I did loose 9 pounds. And it hasnt even been a week yet. I am proof that it can happen by doing all the right things.

  • Thank you Camkels88 for your comment. I agree that it can be done and still be healthy when you first start a weight loss program. I lost 4lbs. within the first 2 days of starting phentermine, so I'm sure that was mainly water weight. The other 6 came from my body not being used to actually exercising and eating less, so the lbs. just melted off that first week. Thank you for your input and congrats on your weight loss.

    Later, Ashley :-)

  • Ashley, I also wanted to ask you; what happens when you stop taking Phentermine? I'm asking because I don't know. I'm not familiar with the way it works.

  • Let me say that when I was first banded I lost 16 pounds the first month. That was fine because I was on liquids for 2 weeks so, hey, what do you expect? In no way did I expect to keep losing like that, and I haven't. You know, when you first get started, it's like BOOM; a huge loss, but that's to be expected and it does even out. So, no, losing a huge chunk in the very beginning is no big deal and not unhealthy...just wanted to clear that up. .
