Hosted by Leonard Nimoy and broadcast weekly from 1976 to 1982, In Search Of... is the greatest mystery documentary show ever. I grew up watching this show, enjoying the spine-tingling presentation of quasi-fact and dramatic synthesizer-heavy music of Rinder and Lewis.

I am not selling this material, neither am I interested in buying bootlegs. It is currently commercially unavailable, so I am joining with others to make evaluation of this excellent series possible.

At the end of this video in Part 3, you'll see Climate Change superstar Stephen Schneider. He's gone from Global Cooling Alarmist ---> Global Warming Alarmist ----> Climate Change Alarmist. But his message in this Global Cooling video has changed, before he was worried that the cure could be worse than the disease. Now apparently he's not.

JUst saw this.. it is now May 2013, and the east coast on N America has just had the most freakish winter weather I can imagine. Looks like the folks that were looking forward to "nice hot tub weather" from global warming didn't realize it can, and probably will, lead to a big freeze..

Maybe we can pollute our way out of an ice age? If man made global warming is real, then maybe its the only chance we have against turning into an ice ball. It seems like the global warming conspiracy theorists are waging a war against warmth. Wait until they finally discover that the sun influences our climate more than anything else....they will come up with a "Sun Tax" to charge every person per photon absorbed.

its true the earth has gone thru many cycles of heating and cooling, but never this dramatically and in such a short time. we are talking about climate changing in a matter of decades. the last time this happen it took 1000's of years for the earth to raise the few degrees to end the ice age. also there is a direct correlation to the amount of carbon in the atmosphere since the industry revolution and temperature

you make a good point.And the show even says its just theory.I just wonder how much of this heating trend we would be going through even if we didnt pollute.Eath has heated and cooled many times before we started polluting.Of coarse we should try to conserve and pollute less. thats good for everyone
