The #1 sign that you're not reading your Bible enough is actually: You still believe it's divinely inspired, error-free, and "good news." I used to think it was the real deal until I read it.

This guy doesn't know how right he is when he talks about the problem of Christians not knowing what's in the Bible...most Christians have no idea that the Bible is full of divine instruction to commit murder and rape, to keep slaves, to abandon your family...it goes on and on. The sad/funny part is, the people who DO know this stuff the best are the atheists...and it falls on us to school these Christian saps about their own religion!

I find it interesting that so many pick out one thing that they have read, or usually heard from others, in the Bible that they find contradictory, based on man's wisdom, and site it constantly as so horribly wrong...such as God ordering the death of men, women and children. God created all people, He has the right to do with them as He chooses.  And yet, they miss the most important thing....salvation for all mankind through the grace and mercy of Jesus Christ.

I wish this guy would talk to the ministers of the churches that are claiming to be Christian

that our Canadian leaders say they belong to.both fed and provincial.

When I see them don the clothes of other religions "out of respect" to garner votes,

My heart breaks as they put another god before the one true. I see a golden calf and a fall from grace.

I'm not asking because I'm trying to prove you wrong. I'm willing to take your explanations to heart. I just submit that you cannot offer an explanation for life's worth, outside of man being created in God's image. I'm not asking you to cite Bible verses. I'm asking you for an explanation of your view. Why would you cite verses that aren't inspired anyway? It's just a made up book right?

Answer me that without getting upset and emotional and resorting to swearing and using ALL CAPS AND LOTS OF EXCLAMATION PTS!!! and i will listen to your contentions. I challenge you to offer an explanation on the inntrinsic worth of life using your mechanisitic and atheistic science. Contrary to popular belief, faith in God and science are not mutually exclusive endeavors. It's not one or the other. They coincide. But one had to come before the other, you submit that science came, created us...

Why is it so terrible when people die if you submit theyre not passing into eternity? They are only decaying organic matter like everything else right? You are no different than the computer I'm typing on. You're both just assortments of chemical material. I can destroy my computer and you would not be upset, but if i destroy another human than there is an outcry. Why is this? Where does life get its value in a mechanistic universe?

Why are murder and rape such atrocities if there is no value in human life, if all we are is a fortuitous result of a mechanistic universe where molecules bummp into each other over time than why would life have value? According to your worldview murder and rape are all relativistic moral guidelines. Whether you believe it or not, you have to borrow from any religion in order to get your moral guidelines, a glaring contradiction.
