This scene is suprising powerful. After all this time, this scene still rivets me. Carrie covered in blood, the red lighting, the fire behing her as she walks down the stairs. Great moviemaking!

If you reckon back to the shower scene in this movie, when they're all pelting Carrie with tampons and shouting "plug it up! plug it up!"... :(
