On IMDb the other day, I had an epiphany: a lot of good movies came out in 1999.

And "Deep Blue Sea".

Wikipedia even calls 1999 "The Year That Changed Movies"; they're never wrong. In honor of that bitchin' year, here's 53 of its beauties in one and a half minutes of visual cacophony.

0:42 After the shot of Hilary Swank there's one of a woman going underneath some lasers. I've seen this before somewhere and I can't place it nor look it up using google ("Good arse" + lasers). Any ideas where it's from?

1999 was a ridiculously good year for film. Almost all of these movies were great.

IMDB is actually wrong. The film opened wide in 1999 but it originally opened in 1998 in New York for a week. Check Yahoo Movies if you need proof. IMDB can be edited by users, Yahoo movies can't.
