@OK2BCK I think it's the pitch angle of the propeller that slows the pull of these things.. No thrust reverse because that feature is only on jet engines..

Sometimes they do it on purpose to get to end of runway.Thats where fedex is

Actually, the Fedex facility is about mid runway. I think they do this to ease arrivals into PDX, instead of having a bunch of slower props on a long approach holding up the larger airliners.
