Amazing Grace John Newton (acoustic fingerstyle cover)

My arrangement of this old classic hymn written by former slave trader John Newton around 1777 after he found god following a near death experience, he then went on to battle for abolishment of the slave trade ...!!! This is a new guitar im using never posted anything with it till now but it sounds so much better... pity the guitar is so much harder to play than my other. Also the tuning is in dadgad... im not a fan of tuning out guitars but was just messing about and this came from nowhere.

Your kinda right :) John Newton was a slave trader who was nearly killed 1 night at sea... having avoided death he changed his life and views. He found god and set about trying to change the slave industry!!!

to rebeccas isent it both the slave finding god and his way out of slavery this song has verry complicated meanings in my views its deamd a christion song bc he finds god and aviods death and thus that experience he became an abalosiniost of slave trade and the industry.
