Speed Run Walkthrough #1

First part of a 4 part Speedrun collection. Not recorded at the same time, since I have other things to do. I'll get to the other parts eventually.

A few points to make-
1. Kill Dracula with the 2nd Hydro Storm. If you don't, you'll waste some valuable time. *More below*
2. Back dash. Do it.
3. Entering your name as X-X!V''Q lets you do the Warg glitch you see. It lets you keep all your initial equipment, making traveling much faster. To do it you enter your name as such, and when you get to the hall just before Death, kill the first two Wargs and jump over the 3rd. Unequip your DEF items, and when it turns around to face you, try to jump on its head. It should send you through Death's room.
4. After you get the Soul of Wolf, head back to the Big Clock Room. You need to get there before 9 minutes (You see I get there at 8:50) or you you will get stuck waiting for a full minute for the panel to open. To get into the Coliseum, turn into the wolf. Position yourself under the candle so that the wolf's back leg is hanging off the ledge. High Jump (Up+Jump) and at the peak of the jump turn back to Alucard. Dropkick (Down+Jump) onto the candle to launch yourself just high enough to grab onto the ledge and into Orlox's Quarters.

My personal goals are usually to get into the Inverted Castle by 27 minutes, and get to the final save room before Shaft by 39 minutes. Taking two minutes to fight the last bosses. If I cut corners properly I get there earlier, if not, well.. I don't. I'm sure if I didn't do the X-X!V''Q cheat, I could Wing Smash Spam all I wanted and save minutes off my time, but I can't since I have to save about half my MP to go through the Mist Walls. The Code gives you very limited MP.

Any attack that takes out more than half your current health causes Alucard to go flying.

You need to beat the game first in order to do this.

umm how do i do that trick to get up that little space in the big clock room? im not too sure how to bounce off the fire like that.

can't you use stop watch at 6:45 where u fight a mirror of yourself and skip the whole fight entirely??
