Let me tell you folks that you need to buy the book 'I lived to tell it all'. Its just an amazing book. This was filmed in 1981-1982. This probably the last time you will see George on his amazing 'white Lightening' cocktale. shug baggett gave George Jones the best cocaine around to keep him up in the stage. He was probably 4 times legally drunk here plus 3 grams of ether based cocaine. Damn he sounded awesome though!

Okay--it just does not get any better than this. What that man Jones can do with his voice puts today's country singers to shame. He can sing so low and he can sing so high--pure magic. Love this and thanks for the posting. I think this live version is exquisite!
