Yeah, Airport is certainly another option. I think I'll probably get a Mac mini this year to replace my aging basement PC. I haven't actually set the S5 device up yet, so can't say much about it's features at this point. At CES, the Sonos rep demonstrated how it could search a number of on-line services and your iTunes library to locate and stream music...

Sort of like how I stream audio from my Mac Mini to different parts of the house via airport express. I'm liking the fact that it's all controlled by the iPhone/iPod Touch (looking at the specs) and that internet radio is integral to this, we're really enjoying the Radio Hungary app for the iPhone, can you tell if the app allows you to add radio stations?
