I think the 26th is going to be a very big day. Though the Mac Pro may be a silent refresh, like the 2009 model, though I doubt it will be if they do go to 12 cores.

Actually if you search around a bit you can find a third party DVI to Mini-Display port adapter.

unfortunately they don't make a dvi to mini display port adapter.
so no it would not work with your 24 inch LED with mini display port.

I personally hope that the Mac Pro gets a refresh early next year with the Gulftown Xeon processors. If there isn't an upgrade to 6 core and 12 core models I hope that Apple at least makes it a better deal than just buying an iMac i7.

from all the hype about the 12 core Mac pro begin released this year you will find you may see the 12 core Mac pro sooner than you think hehe.
