Fox 5 Atlanta coverage from SEASON OF A LIFETIME Charity Event Screening at the Rialto Center for the Performing Arts at Georgia State University on May 20, 2011. This was recorded on my iPhone from the TV - sorry for the little unsteadiness.
The truly amazing story of Head Football Coach Jeremy Williams in
Greenville, Georgia, stricken with ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease), refusing to
let his terminal illness stop him from living. The cameras follow Coach
Williams through his final season as he battles his debilitating disease in
the Georgia heat along with the tough Region 4 football schedule. A father
figure to most of his underprivileged, African American players, Coach, who
is white, is also raising his own son stricken with Spina Bifida. The
football team unites this small southern town once divided by black and
white and blends them into bleeding Patriot Red and Blue. Follow the
Patriots through all their adversity as they strive to make it truly become
a 'Season of a Lifetime.'
