no Chamberlain had a choice. The Germany military for all it's propaganda was not fully mechanized or armed. Had the french opened a second front in the war World War II could have been vastly different. He gave Germany 2-3 free countries

from what I remember, Chamberlain lost his son during the first world war. If I'd lost my son, I know I'd try to avoid a second.

As for why Consies shout... It's also to appeal to their audience.
You see smart people think with their brain, like humans. And dumb people go with their emotions, like animals.
Said dumb people aren't all consies, but most consies DO fall into that chunk. And by screaming you seem to be the voice of righteous indignation to these morons. So they support the passionate angry yelling guy, because they're angry themselves.

Actually Chamberlain didn't have much choice at the time, brittains forces where weak, but he DID start building them up. Regardless of wether or not Chamberlain's methods where right, he's yet another guy who history (especially right-wingers) unfairly demonizes.
Of course if right-wingers demonize someone, chances are they're probably a decent guy.

@PickinNgrinin First of all, it's MSNBC, not MSN. Second, hell yeah it's liberal. It counters the far-right nutjobs at Fox News and the conservative sympathizers at CNN and the rest of the weak Washington-led media.
