Produced and directed by Nathan Steinbauer. Between February 19th and 24th, Smuggs received 61 inches of snow - that's 5 feet! Ride along for a tour of some favorite powder stashes on Madonna. Special thanks to Underhill resident and Smuggs season pass holder Nathan Steinbauer for this submission.

  • how big is the drop on the black hole? also whats the general pitch on the black hole

  • The Black Hole has multiple drops of an average of six to eight feet. The trail’s pitch is similar to Freefall and The Madonna Liftline as it’s sandwiched between the two.

  • i find it pretty impressive that you kept your head so still through all of this... im assuming it is a helmet cam?

  • This video was shot with a helmet cam. And don't forget, good technique dictates we all keep our head trained on our line regardless of whether or not we're equipped with a helmet cam.

  • @funnyboy131 i did it yesterday by myself and i was fine. p.s. im only 14. hope tht helps

  • just did black hole yesterday. what people say about it is true. scary with a whole lotta drops. fell good tht i did it tho. if ur a good skier or rider, deffinately try it.

  • Robin's run looks SO fun, but people say it's really hard... What's so hard about it? Cliffs? Trees? Or is it just steep like freefall? I know it's only ever open after a snowstorm which is somewhat concerning... What's the reason for the extra diamond?
