Port Erin bay is not always calm and peaceful, especially in the autumn, winter and early spring months. These photographs were taken on a particularly blustery day in October 2008 and show the bay as it can sometimes be: dangerous!! Yet at the same time if treated with respect it can provide fun for surfers.

This link takes you to a short video of the surfer at the end of his ride should you care to look at it. It was taken on my Fuji A330 camera, so is not of brilliant quality, but non-the-less shows the surfer enjoying himself even on this stormy day.
