Hi Great to watch your simple clear explanations of the basics of weaving. I am a beginner having just obtained a rigid heddle loom. I feel inspired by your film, thanks.

Thank you for this very informative video. I am not familiar with the 8 system, mine are all 4s. I am especially interested in how you get the warp on. I will definitely look into getting the book and magazine you suggest and keep learning and weaving.
what kind of loom are you using? how much is it?

The loom is a Schacht 46" eight harness loom made of cherry wood. Pricing can be found on the internet.

The pattern, "Keep it Simple Towels," is from Best of Handwoven - Top Ten Towels on Four Shafts. It's an eBook available for download through Interweave.

Hello Crafty Bear - I do not have a DVD, but there are a number of excellent videos here on YouTube. Are you looking to warp front to back or back to front. If you want to warp front to back (which I do), I would recommend you get Tom Knisely's DVD. It is excellent. Available through The Mannings in Pennsylvania. Well worth it.
