Cycled the KVR some years ago, before the big forrest fire destroyed all trestles in Myra Canyon. Four weeks of fantastic cylcling, all the way from Nelson to Hope (and by bus into Vancouver). A great holiday, highly recommended!!!

@dwodchis - Might I ask when and how much of the trail burned? I'm getting ready to ride the portion from Osoyoos(Wa) to Grandforks... Thanks!

The trestles burned some years ago and have been completely rebuilt in the Myra Canyon section. It was still closed when I shot this video, so as you can see there is still a lot of awesome scenery

Also - I think a lot of this part is from a section also known as the Columbia and Western railway from Christina lake to Castlegar
