Poopod Review - Demo of the Poopod (petite size) that holds empty poop bags and filled poop bags discreetly.
The Poopod has a dog lead/leash attached so you do not have anything extra to hold or carry. And it saves you having to walk around with a dirty poop bag in your hand until you find a bin.
I got this Poopod for £12.99 from Pets at Home about 18 months ago and considering I take my dog out three times a day, it is worth every penny.
I think it is a great product, although the two metal clasps are not very strong. One broke after six months when my 20kg dog saw a cat and pulled on the lead all of a sudden. She is very strong however, but I would have thought the clasps would be better quality.
But stronger clasps are cheap enough to buy from DIY stores such as B&Q or Wickes. You can see both the old clasp and the new clasp on this at 0:59. The old one (bottom) has a spring fastener, while the new one (top) is thicker and has the clip fastener.
The Poopod also once had an air freshener in the lid of the used bag compartment, but fell out. But under normal circumstances the spring-shut lids are good enough to keep any smells inside.
I think it did come with two rolls of poop bags. I don't think it was these exact bags that split, but some other black poop bags have slit several times. (you'd think I wouldn't need telling twice wouldn't you?)
So I now use nappy sacks / diaper bags, as they're stronger and a lot cheaper too.
But will it blend???

@redishsetters - no it doesn't blend! But it doesn't need to. I believe the subject matter comes already pre-blended!
