Check us out at http://www.kodiakfilmproductions.com/ This is a duck boat I have been working on. It has been reworked from fiberglass to a new paint job. I found the perfect motor for it, a yamaha 15 hp 2 stroke outboard.

  • Which motor do you prefer? This one or the 4-Stroke from your other video?

Also, is the gas consumption really different between the two?

    Thanks.

  • @stjernefodt

The 2 stroke, alot more power and lighter...

  • 1. looking down 2. saftey lanyard not on 3.scared father less child in a speeding boat. 8(

  • God this boat is so awesome!

  • i have a Evenrude 9.9 2 stroke got it brand new in 93 and it ran 27mph on my 14' john boat that was rated max 10hp

it was so lite that i could pick it up my self

friend clocked me with his v hull with a 70hp

but later had to replace the john boat after the 9.9 ripped the transom out of it and on the new 14' Alumacraft that is rated for 20hp max it runs right at 22mph 18 years later and it still runs grate use 40:1 from day one and it still looks like new

love my 2t use Yamalube 2R

  • DAMN! IF THATS 15....I have no idea whats coming for my 25hp....

  • GOD DAMN! IF THATS A 15....I will underestimate my 25hp....

  • Which one is better/faster/cooler haha,

This type of two stroke,or the V MAX?

  • Great engine! I own two of them. I purchased one @ my local marina in Gloucester, MA. about 24 months ago. Use it on a 10'4" Achilles RIB inflatable & it really moves. I decided to purchase another (just in case) 15HP 2-Stroke a year later, but all local dealers were out of stock. Found one on eBay (Florida Yamaha dealer) & paid like $300.00 more because supply was running out. So...One is being used, the other sits new in my basement. You cannot beat 2-Strokes in the 9.9-20HP range!

  • i love it!!!! just dont run into a rock!!!!!

  • our boat has that same engine and it makes exactly the same noice! :D brought back warm summer memories here in the cold and dark finnish winter :)
