Gaza Under Fire: Israel air assault claims civilian lives

The latest Israeli bombing of Gaza has left at least one Palestinian civilian dead, and dozens wounded. Tel Aviv is stepping up its assault on Hamas militants, but the campaign is putting more innocent lives in the firing line. Professor Hani Al-Basoos of the Islamic University of Gaza, says Israel kills Palestinians with no respect for international law.

Hamas has no planes, no ships, no bombs just rockets and guns while Isreal controls airspace, the sea, Gaza's electricity, their water, whether they can go in or out etc. top notch weapons, it has one of the biggest militaries in the world and is the only country in the middle East with nuclear weapons. Now tell me if 1000+ civillian deaths in just one year alone is justified.

@powpanda and if the Israeli coward Dogs want to go fight like men, they will be absolutely obliterated. They receive everything from handouts and theft. Hamas has to use guerilla tactics without uniforms. With their oh so advanced training and weapons given to them by America, Israel should still be able to rout them out without killing thousands.

@missysummertime It is kind of hard to limit civilian casualties when Hamas fire from Mosques and schools, and don't wear army uniforms. If they want to go out and fight like men, they will spare a lot of their own peoples' lives.

1) What illegal weapons? If you are referring to white phosphorus, you should read its wiki page to get some more of the details, rather than just shouting OMG Israel Illegal!

2) Noone is making out that they are equal in fire power. Who ever said that? Why is that important to you? it's not a boxing match.

The problem is that hamas fire from civilian areas.

And besides, you don't fight wars to out of 'fairness'. The closest to a 'fair fight'was the 6-day war which Israel won. Now what is the point of comparing the military power of the two sides?

Fact is Hamas keeps firing rockets randomly and Israel responds. The cycle of violence continues.
