When in high school I would watch a Green Acres rerun after dinner and then have to sprint to catch the bus to get to work on time. Loved all those looneys, but "Hank Agent. your County Kimball" was by far my favorite, well maybe not my favorite....

@cyborlite It's good to know that Alvy was nice in person too. I never failed to laugh when Mr. Kimball would show up and his character was so confused he'd end up getting Oliver confused....LOL. And the episodes where he was fired in favor of a new county agent that everybody disliked and the other one where he was supposed to marry Ralph, the lady carpenter were hilarious. I only hope Alvy's bringing as much laughter to heaven as he did here on earth.

@ridgerunner721601 Yes, Alvy and Tom were really neat people. I met Tom briefly in 1997 after Alvy's funeral. A group of us had gathered at Alvy and Carolyn's home (his wife) for a wake/memorial. It was bitter-sweet, filled with tears and laughter as everyone shared their memories of time with Alvy. I do miss him so.

@cyborlite I had the pleasure of meeting Tom Lester (Eb) a few years back and he basically says the same. According to Tom, the whole cast was really nice. But Alvy Moore and Eddie Albert exuded class. I was glad to find out that apparently the cast of Green Acres was as nice in real life as they were zany on the show.
