Drinking on Silver Week in Japan

Well I met up with some tubers and had a blast this week. Sit back and party with us!

Its nice to meet people coming to Japan and interested in meeting up. When you meet a good Aussie you better off him before he goes bad. Thanks Benny and Dom! Had a great time!

One of the places featured is Asakusa. Its a great place to visit, buy souvenirs and sit down and have some great Japanese food and drink. The temple is famous and a must see its called Sensoji Temple. Take the Ginza line to its end Asakusa bound and enjoy Japan!

The hospitality was unbelievable. People were buying us food and drinks and showing us a kindness unparalleled. A reminder to me as to why I respect and appreciate Japan and all its people.

Asakusa is very cool, especially during festivals because of the street food. My wife and I and the in-laws always go to the same upstairs noodle shop right near the big lantern every year. Kind of a tradition for us. I really like Asakusa during the New Year's celebration.

Yea I did not realize that till after shooting video... I actually had to peel the sticker and cut the tag wile he was wearing it or he would have went home with them on... Sam is classic!

Asakusa looks great, might havta check that out when we get over there in Jan...missus says it even has a poo shaped statue lol & its a cool place : D

Yea that's the Asahi center... there is a quick shot of it in the background. Black building with a golden poo on top. I think its supposed to be a cloud but the Japanese say it looks like a poo. The funny thing is there is a urinal inside that is a wall of cascading water. Guys just pee on the wall and the water washes it into a slit in the floor. When you walk in the bathroom you cant find the urinals and then you figure it out after you see someone use it.

Good video. love seeing the different types of food Japan has to offer. I love the soup u guys got. it's definately a must do when i visit japan.

lol sounds like my first visit to Japan. I was like how do I turn on the tap to wash my hands in the J train public toilet. Then I saw someone use the sensor, first time I'd seen one...plus I was pretty jet lagged & not so quick on the ball lol
