Monta Ellis - Keep Talking

A lot has been said about Monta Ellis of the Golden State Warriors since he was in high school. Through all of the talk, 2007 has been a big year for him. He signed an endorsement contract with AND 1, won the NBA's Most Improved Player Award and his team pulled off one of the biggest upsets in NBA history beating the Mavs in the first round of the playoffs. He and the Warriors are now focused on beating the Jazz and have their eye on the '07 NBA Championship.

I'm sorry but what has the NBA come to when a player that averages. About 25 ppg and is an excellent at driving to the rim and is in the top 10 in the league in scoring doesn't make the all-star game. Are you fucking serious?!?! Monta is one of the best shooting guards and prolific scoters in the league, he definitely got robbed this year and last year as well.

@giantsfan421 I went to, I think, 6 home games, and watched as many as possible on TV. Some people are all in with Monta, others prefer to see a team play together. Sure his assist numbers were up. But consider this: the team added Wright and he is money from deep. A lot of Ellis' assists were from drive and kicks. In that case, the increase in assists is in direct correlation to the improvement of the shooters put around him.

Either way, I'm happy when the W's get W's.
