Helicopter: 2.4ghz Esky Honeybee V2(RTF)

Location: New Zealand

Conditions: Dry and Sunny, with slight constant breeze

Pilot Skill: Intermediate(ish)

Filmed with: Canon Powershot A1000IS strapped to a hat

Helicopter Mods(all stock other than stated):
Xtreme Metal blade grip(top of the head that blades screw into)
SuperBlades XP's(Make it more stable and better for foward flight than stock blades)

Helicopter & Stock Parts/upgrades(except SuperBlades) are all available @ www.controlfreaks.co.nz

Overview: This is an awesome beginner single rotor helicopter.
Im not going to lie, any helicopter is quite hard to learn to fly, especially if you are moving from a co-axial to a single rotor. But if you are ready to make that step, then this is the heli to do it with!!!
It is very durable, parts are cheap.

This is the only single rotor ive flown, but once you have mastered it, it is a very fun heli to fly around the sky.
It is a lot of fun, for very little $$$

  • I bought the honeybeev2 as my first heli, I've had a couple since but I really disagree that its a good heli. The weight is off balance meaning you have to place the battery further forward than there is anywhere in the structure to secure it. I actually had to use additional front weights rather than velcro-ing it on the edge all the time. For a 'beginner' heli a user shouldn't have to so anything out of the ordinary like this and it cost me alot from crashing from this bad design. best avoid.

  • @441rider
