Jeff Hartwig (silver medalist) clears 5.60 (18'-4 1/4") on his first attempt at the 2008 Track and Field Olympic Trials in Eugene, OR. He went on to clear 5.70 on his third attempt to make the Olympic Team. He qualified for his second Olympic Team at these trials. His first Olympic qualification was 12 years earlier for the Atlanta 1996 Olympics.

Feel free to visit my page to find the video of his 5.70 make which was his qualifying jump.

It was warm and sunny, however the winds were very unpredictable pretty much during the entire competition.

Feel free to visit my channel to see other videos from the 2008 Track & Field Olympic Trials.
