Wayzata Today TV news - May 7 - A look at the May 7 Sun-Sailor

Our top story this week was Orono Schools closing due to a probable case of N1H1 influenza the so-called "swine flu."

I don't know about you, but I'm a little tired of seeing, reading, writing and talking about this illness.

So here's the short version: All four Orono Schools closed on Monday while the district waited for more information about a probable case of N1H1 at OHS. Orono Middle School, Intermediate School and Schumann Elementary re-opened on Tuesday. On Wednesday the high school followed suit and now all students - minus the one possibly infected student - are back to wrapping up the school year.

Students at Birchview Elementary School recently performed their version of the smash Broadway hit, "Suessical" in the schools gymnasium. More than 50 children were involved in the production. Let's give a listen.

For the rest of Thursday we'll see mostly sunny skies with highs around 75. There is a slight chance of thunderstorms this afternoon into tonight. Overnight lows will dip to around 50.

Hopefully you all got your fix of sunshine today, because it looks like Friday is going to be cloudy and gloomy. Highs will be around 70, but there appears to be a chance of rain and thunderstorms pretty much all day long.
