2012 Minneapolis Obama Office Mural

SIR is a creative collective harbored in Saint Paul and Minneapolis, Minnesota. We are fine artists and designers that collaborate on projects large and small in a variety of mediums including painting, sculpture, and design. Founded by Allan Salmi (www.allansalmi.com) and Brandon Regner (www.brandonregner.com) in 2009, we are slowly growing the collective into a powerful presence in the local scene.

This project teamed Salmi and Regner with local graphic designer Stephan Peters (www.stephan-peters.com) in developing a concept that created a marriage between the Obama 2012 campaign and the city of Minneapolis. It was painted over a three-day time period on location at the regional campaign headquarters on University Ave in MPLS.
