I had thought about buying one of these when I move to Spain. I thought with 33hp and 140kg it might just be comparable to my 52hp CB400. But you have just saved me the trouble, as with only 25hp it's really not going to be good for country rides with my GF.

its on par with hp compared to the ninja 250r and torque is slightly worse. still a shame they don't have it hear in north america. kawi is raping the feild with its best in class 250, nearly the only one.

clutchless shifts are easier on a dyno, Sometimes i'd clutchless shift into second on my old VTR when racing my mates car.

is this VTR250 restriced ? they produce 32 HP

HAHA thats why i been goin so slow, i thought i was fast and super cool
Theyre a greater little bike. Perfect for novice riders and commuting, and I even did some trackdays on it. But yeah a cb400 would be a better option.

Yeah clutch-less shifting is a useful skill to learn, I use it on sports bikes occasionally but not on the VTR
My VTR isnt restricted but has been thrashed and crashed. It feels a bit weaker than another VTR i owned previously. Another VTR at the same dyno day made 25.8HP. 32HP is probably Honda's claimed HP at the crank. You wont get that at the rear wheel.
