yep, with billions $ in aids and remittances from our OFWs, floods are still evident, health are deteriorating, and hunger stills persist. Why don't the gov't hire the locals for clean up, distribution, or dredging the river even on a temp basis. So the folks can as least get a descent meal.

if i am not mistaken, this is the corner of buendia and filmore, going to the hi-way. Only saw 6inches of flood then, when i lived in that area. Nakakatakot to imagine being stranded in a car alone tapos inaagos ang kotse!
