I think its friggin depressing, i don't want to be with a boy in that way unless we get married, but i live in the city..and i have yet to find a boy my own age who hasnt already done it with another girl. >.>

Premarital has actually gone down a bit, but peaked in the late 70s and 80s. Its enormously dependant on what part of the country you live in, Northern California for example i saw a statistic that said only 5% did not have sex before marriage- but in Colorado it was over 80%. Janie even said that "literally everyone wore purity rings in her high school". I live in Ohio and its really dependant on the proximity to the city.
