Mike, I just got a smart panel.(Video soon) You have to hit the program button twice to put the opener in learn mode, and it does turn on the learn LED.

@NicksGarageDoor haha, I did, but I have no use for it. I don't have any of these operators anymore... Currently, I have a 1265 on the first bay, and then two identical 1280R units for my other doors. I may slowly be converting to probably a combo of two 1265's, and a 2265.

@sms373 It was sitting on the shelf at my dealers place, he said i could take it. I didn't have to pay :) But, just look online, and type in 79LM. there are some places that still DO sell it.
