@garytko Did you work with Dan Angerstein?

Actually, this seems to be an organ reduction of the original version for organ, 3 trumpets, 3 trombones, tuba, and timpani arranged by Dan Marvin for Tim Zimmerman and the King's Brass. Check out their website for more information.

I worked for MP Moller when this magnificent organ was built. I can still recall the sound of it when first played in the grand assembly hall at Moller for its final testing prior to shipment. Thank you for providing me with everlasting memories. Are any recordings available for purchase featuring this great organ?

@garytko There were 5 recordings made that are readily available for purchase via Dan Miller's website or the OHS.

DId you record audio separately by any chance?
bombarde1701 2 years ago
Yes it was recorded separately. The D50 was placed on an 13ft stand at the base of the stage. I've been told that I should have been closer to the facade, but I don't think the "stereo" effect from the two antiphonal division would be as pronounced. Some people complain about the reverb as well - If I moved it out into the main isle, where you can hear a 2-3 sec. reverb, it would sound like a child rearing cough fest. :)
