@michelleblackmore It's not magic. The protein and sugar in cakes form crusts. Using a fat and flour on the pan before pouring in the batter also helps make the sides crusty. It just looks very crusty, though. :)

i made this yesterday!!! it is SOOOO GOOD! Definately recommend this recepie :)
I like how the finished cheesecake has a crust around the outside, but when she made the crust it is only in the bottom of the pan!
