Ha, I know what you mean with the interpretation. My own grandmothers New York Brooklyn accent is so strong that most of my friends dont know what shes saying. I have to sort of translate for them. Anyway, yes, I do enjoy your videos. Please keep them up!

I thought the Lancashire dialect spoke with the rhotic "r"(that is the "r" sound us Americans make at the end of our words) but you don't seem to that....does the rhotic "r" vary from person to person? Some other Lancashire fellas i saw posting up vids pronounced in a rhotic manner

Hi sgtgiggles. True Lancashire dialect is all but dead now. I was brought up in Manchester, and 40 odd years ago I met my future wife in Oldham, just 6 miles further North. I can remember her having to inerpret what her grand dad and older uncles were talking about, it was like a forieign language to me. But nowadays it just seems to be local accents as opposed to actual dialect.
